Near where my parents live is a beautiful meadow that during the Summer months is filled with native wild flowers. Its pure joy to stroll through the “Butterfly Meadow” and see what little floral treasures are hiding through the leaves and grass.

What can you see in the photo?

I see the narrow leafed plantain’s floral halos and a small amount of white clover. The buttercup is not medicine!

The landscape will change from week to week so, during the summer months  you must keep looking down so you can catch all the changes that nature is speedily delivering,  and do carry a local wild flower book!

Here’s something new that I discovered on my trip…A wild orchid.
